One of the motivations for our trip is to raise money for good causes. To this end we have selected two charities (Mary’s Meals and Medecins Sans Frontieres) that we believe do excellent and much-needed work in some of the poorest parts of the world. Mary’s Meals in particular is close to our hearts because of the close involvement of Pete’s parents in fundraising for this charity.
